Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Ground Control Technologist for their project in Ontario. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Senior Ground Control Technologist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and productivity of all ground control activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ground stability assessments and conduct underground investigations with the geology team
- Operate and maintain all micro-seismic (EGS) activities including site monitoring and appropriate equipment installation
- Ensure all ground movement instrumentation is properly installed and accurate
- Participate in mine planning to evaluate the impact on ground stability
- Collaborate on numerical modelling of ground stability issues and alternative plans
Minimum Requirements:
- A degree in Mine Engineering or similar field
- Professional Engineer certification is required
- At least 3 years of experience in Ground Control
- Experience successfully executing detailed phases of a project from design to testing
- Excellent computer skills including AutoCAD and MS Office
- Bilingual French / English would be an asset
