Mechanical Project Engineer
Work Location: Port Hedland
Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth or Residential
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to work at our Port Facility for the Engineering Projects Department. This position will require an experienced engineer with a history in mining and fixed plant infrastructure experience.
This position will report to the Port Engineering Projects Supervisor.

- Delivery of large capital projects for the Port project team.
- Leading large projects from inception through design, contractor engagement, execution and commissioning.
- Being a safety leader and engage with personnel to drive a Zero Harm culture.
- Becoming a leader in FMG Asset Management Processes.
- Monitoring Asset Management KPI's, identify gaps in performance and recommend actions to resolve.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- 10+ years heavy industry experience preferably in Fixed Plant Mining Environments.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical trade
- 5+ years' experience leading Engineering Projects
