Workpac are currently recruiting Mechanical Fitters for a two week shut down from May 10th in the North West of Adelaide

Extremely competitive pay rates on offer for this shut down

Gas Turbine Generator Minor Inspection includes:
Unbolt and remove enclosures/housings.
Disassemble EE and TE bearings and inspect. NDT bearing pads and conduct clearance checks
Remove EE and TE End Shields/Oil Deflectors.
Inspect EE and TE bearing lift oil flexible hoses. Replace if necessary.
Visually inspect (and clean where possible) exposed Stator Windings and Rotor (Field).
Removal of Generator Rotor in preparation for Electrical Testing
Inspect Exciter (including diode, fuse and armature resistance test).
Inspect and clean all components.
Reassemble Generator.

Steam Turbine Inspection includes:
V1 HP Main Control Valve Inspection/Overhaul
V1 HP Main Stop Valve Inspection/Overhaul
V2 - Extraction Control Valve Inspection/Overhaul.
Extraction Non-Return Valve Inspection Overhaul
Inspect/Overhaul: IP Admission Stop Valve, IP Admission Control Valves, and LP Admission Control Valve.
Break turbine to generator coupling to allow rotor lift/bearing inspection.
Front Standard (Thrust/Journal Bearing) Inspection/Overhaul
LP Bearing Inspection including dismantle/reassembly of covers.
HP, Thrust, and LP bearing pad clearance checks and NDT.
Inspect and measure HP and LP bearing oil seal rings.
