About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer within our clients ARP Governance and Planning Division commencing immediately based within Perth. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster, ongoing in duration with highly competitive rates dependent upon skills and experience.? This position would suit an experienced Programme Manager/ Roadmap Manager - Systems across operational systems and software coordination? that can look at processes with an eye to improvement.
Responsibilities will Include:
Within this role you will oversee programme management and road map managing for the Service Delivery team in Rio Tinto and deliver system changes for Auto Haul.

• Manages the AHE Sharepoint site for Planning and Governance
  
• Ensure all new work requests are logged and tracked and stakeholders informed of status
  
• Chair AHE meetings to progress work requests through to ECN/Study or place on hold or cancel
  
• Chair Steerco Meetings to prioritise ECNS / work and create Steerco Packs
  
• Create annual roadmap target releases and allocation of budget by SME function to each release
  
• Create quotes for work requests /ECNS for external parties to varying degrees of accuracy using the Roadmap tool
  
• Manage and update the roadmap (6 months + outlook) in general and create approved delivery Plans (locked for next 6 months) and lists by allocating ECNs to target releases based on priority
  
• Ensure the Roadmap is aligned to Sustaining Capital / Rail Engineering and other projects schedules and they are aligned with the Roadmap target releases
  
• Manage the Sharepoint Studies, WorkPackage and ECN registers and maintain alignment with Roadmap and ADP
  
• Chair and Manage the innovation platforms 6 monthly
  
• Assist in creation of processes and Procedures for the RTIO AHE Team (primarily in Governance and planning)
  
• Assist in management of select studies (could be removed for new person)
  
• Work with the Commercial Manager to ensure the roadmap is aligned to the Budget ??? and changes are integrated with the ? commercial ? team
  
• Tracking of ECN completion wrt the roadmap representation ??? check for validation that the ECN has been delivered / closed
  
• Assist in creation of ONRSRS pack (advice on relative importance)
  

Requirements of the Role Include:

• Minimum of 10 years prior experience with an mature understanding and delivery within a similar position.
  
• ? Relevant Tertiary Qualifications within either Electrical Control Systems, Railway Systems, Mechatronics
  
• Project Management Qualification - Highly Regarded
  
• Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport
  
• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
