About the role

There is currently an opportunity to join our Facilities Contract Management Team in Perth working as a Contracts Advisor to assist in governing and optimising our service contracts within the Iron Ore operations.

This is a permanent position based in Perth, reporting to the Superintendent Contracts & Commercial. You will be:
  • Working in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to achieving our goal of zero harm;
  • Delivering operational requirement through scoping, commercial analysis, negotiation, contract conformance and input into variation preparation for the facilities contracts;
  • Interpreting the contracts, specifications, pricing schedules to ensure services are delivered and charged correctly;
  • Responding to internal and external stakeholders regarding contractual issues and provide guidance and support through to resolution;
  • Commercial relationship management.

What you'll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce/business/accounting and contract management
  • Problem solving, strategic and analytical capability;
  • Verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to provide regular updates to senior leaders;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities;
  • Stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage expectations;
