About the role:

Downer holds a long term Asset Management and Services contract with Auckland Transport for the provision of facilities management services that make up the Central Rail Link (CRL) railway. In this newly created role, the Site Manager / Station Lead will provide support and delivery of the services. This role will be responsible for a single site as part and;
  • Drive a lived experience (active engagement) of Zero Harm at the site;
  • Provide leadership and direction to the delivery team;
  • Develop strong, collaborative Customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure jobs are delivered safely, cost effectively, with quality and within performance measures;
  • Guide and direct staff and subcontractors on site;
  • Ensure the timely management of site compliance, including BWOF and HSNO requirements;
  • Deliver all services and people leadership in accordance with our Downer Values.

About you:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following attributes:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' management level experience ideally within the facilities industry.
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven fiscal skills and an ability to both manage costs and drive improved productivity.
  • Current working knowledge of Building Compliance requirements and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
  • Ownership, commitment and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must hold a current full driver's licence.
  • A formal trade or engineering qualification and or a background in Asset Management would be highly considered.
