About the role
To support our continued growth and operational success, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Planning Superintendent to join our Windarling team on an 8/6 roster.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the planning team effectively supports mobile equipment assets and projects for the Mining and Crushing businesses. Ensuring the equipment fleet and major components achieve maximum availability in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.

About the role

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the planning team effectively supports mobile equipment assets and projects for the Mining and Crushing businesses. Ensuring the equipment fleet and major components achieve maximum availability in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
- Accountable for the efficient and accurate development of maintenance plans and schedules, shutdown maintenance and completion review
- Review sequence plans for upcoming shutdowns
- Monitoring, auditing and review of site compliance to plan
- Ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of asset maintenance and task activity schedules
- Provide compliance to our Asset Maintenance Work Management Procedure
What you'll bring to the team
- Trade Certification - Mechanical or Heavy Diesel desirable
- Extensive technical, planning and maintenance knowledge of large and ancillary mining equipment
- Minimum 5 years' maintenance planning with supervision in mining, earthmoving or similar industries dealing with mobile earthmoving and mining equipment
- Competent with the timing and resource provision for ad hoc, planning and scheduling functions of industry standard asset maintenance and shutdown principles in a mining environment.
- Proficient with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Asset Management principles and standards.
- Understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) strategies.
- Significant demonstrated leadership which supports a high performance culture
