We are looking for Senior Advisor Data & Analytics in the Group Services division based out of Gurgaon to support the delivery of processes (captive and Outsource Service Provider) ensuring a performance driven organization with a commercial intent that focuses on customer satisfaction.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to support the group's focus on improving quality of processes and services delivered by the outsource vendor and help Group Services in building stronger partnership with internal customers and achieving business excellence in long run. We are looking for a go-getter with a genuine ability to derive actionable insights from multiple data sources, love for mathematics and statistics, willingness to learn and grow.

Reporting line: Manager BPO Management & Analytics

Scope: Your scope will include (but not limited to) below:

· Supporting defining, implementing and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and for internal (Rio Tinto) customers (including verification of metrics reported by the service provider)

· Supporting the development of tools to monitor our processes in real time, and progressive improvement and automation of our work

· Implement Tableau and PowerBI dashboards, scorecards, and reports to enhance understanding and usability

· Analysing data to determine if there are outliers or data accuracy issues and work with related departments to make the corrections

· Own the project end-to-end, from gathering requirements to providing recommendations on improving performance both on case-by-case basis and holistically

· Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports

· Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets

· Managing stakeholders and working with management to prioritize business and information needs

· Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities

· Delivering automated and ad-hoc reports per stakeholder requirements

· Carrying out data deep dives and analysis per management requests

Additional:

· Systemically identify data integrity issues

· Discover issues with data accuracy, caused by system and human errors, provide recommendations for improvement

· Identify and report issues in case data quality to improve data analysis efficiency

· Provide requirements for reporting automation

· Analyse and report on client survey data as needed.

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

· Overall 8-10 years of experience in a global organization with multi-cultural discipline

· Strong Data Analytics background with minimum 6+ years experience in the area

· Expert level knowledge in Tableau/PowerBI, SQL, DAX, R/Python

· Experience of working with large databases (EDW) and related data architectures (e.g. Fact-Dimensional modelling)

· Experience of Extract/ Transform/ Load (ETL) tools such as Easymorph, SQL, SSIS

· Experience of working with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift/MS Azure

· Advance MS Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, analytical functions, macros) & Power point

· Presentation skills & experience creating slide decks

· Data analysis skills, familiarity with analytical techniques

· Understanding of process documentation principles

· Proven communication & writing skills; be able to tell the story behind the data

· Diligence and attention to details

It will also be beneficial if you have:

· Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and underlying statistical techniques: regression, classification, scenario modelling, clustering etc.

· Experience within and/or exposure to shared services (captive and outsourced) will be an asset

· Experience of working with procurement/Purchase-to-pay analytics which can evaluate payment accuracy, improve payment terms and predict future payment anomalies etc.
