Mine Planning Engineer

Our client, a rapidly growing diversified miner with an impressive portfolio of assets currently seeks a Mine Planning Engineer for an open pit mine located in West Africa. It is a great opportunity to be part of a growing business. Reporting to the Project Manager,  the candidate will be responsible for:

• Short to medium term Mine Planning.
• Mine Design and Mine Scheduling.
• Production Engineering (optimising fleet, KPI tracking, productivity reporting).
• QC for drill and blast.
• Communicating findings to senior management on a weekly basis.

We seek a degree qualified Mining Engineer with a minimum of 4-5 years open pit site experience. Experience of Surpac would be advantageous but not essential.

Residential assignment with flights, 6 weeks annual leave and great accommodation provided.
