Our client, a rapidly growing diversified miner with an impressive portfolio of assets currently seeks a Drill and Blast Engineer for an Underground mine located in West Africa. It is a great opportunity to be part of a growing business.
Reporting to the Assistant Project Manager, while managing all drill and blast planning and execution, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Blast designs.
- Fragmentation analysis.
- Drill and blast scheduling.
- Drill fleet engineering and optimization.
- Blast quality and overbreak control.
- Collaboration with operations / survey department.
We seek a degree qualified Mining Engineer with a minimum of 4-6 years hard rock underground experience.
Residential assignment with flights, 6 weeks annual leave and great accommodation provided.
