Maintenance Planning Supervisor
Job Details
Description
Do you have at least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning? The Company is seeking a Maintenance Planning Supervisor to supervise and coordinate all aspects of maintenance planning and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and communication to ensure optimum equipment availability.
Responsibilities:
•Supervise all maintenance planning activities and ensure the weekly planning cycle supports the operation to minimize maintenance related downtime and unanticipated costs.
•Coordinate all major outage planning including schedule development, resource loading, financial planning, and AFE development and approval.
•Owner of the site Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program.
•Accountable for all non-capital project related contractor work at the facility.
•Develop AFE's, SOW's and ensure parts availability for maintenance related projects.
•Control the warehouse inventory to ensure parts availability for critical assets in conjunction with purchasing.
•Support operations functions through working with vendors to supply equipment and materials to enable day-to-day operations.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
•5+ years of experience in maintenance planning with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
•At least 2 years supervision experience.
•Previous RCM and planning system development preferred.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Engineering Degree preferred.
•Valid, current driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, financial planning and human resources software.
•Knowledge and development of CMMS systems.
•Large outage planning and coordination.
•Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs.
•Mechanical knowledge of shafts, gearboxes, bearings, and sprockets.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
•Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions and wet, humid (non-weather) conditions.
•Occasionally required to work near moving mechanical parts.
•Occasionally required to wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to, fall protection, a respirator, hearing protection, and eyewear.
•May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
•Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time, talk and hear.
•Occasionally required to use repetitive motion and reach with hands/arms.
•Requires clarity of vision and three-dimensional vision.
•Occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
