About Our Client
Established in 1994, our Client has grown to become one of Australia's leading suppliers of reinforcing steel products and services. Partnered with WorkPac, they are currently recruiting for experienced Overhead Crane/ Gantry Operators to join their company in various ongoing opportunities.
About the Role
WorkPac are seeking experienced loaders/ unloaders to operate overhead cranes & forklifts to pick, assemble steel mesh, bar, coils and associated building products to transport. This is an ongoing role working Monday to Friday with morning, afternoon, and night shifts available with an immediate start.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment
Document Control
Pick & assessable associated building accessories
Load building & assembly
Loading & unloading vehicles of mesh, coils & accessories by forklift or overhead crane
Use loading PC & RF Scanners
Skills & Experience
Follows company policies and procedures
Complies, understands and follows WH&S obligations in the workplace
Industry experience desirable
Holds a current QLD High Risk Forklift License and has experience is operating a large forklift.
Minimum two (2) yearsâ experience in overhead crane / gantry operation or equivalent high-risk work license.
High level of self-motivation & ownership
