Our client, an ASX listed mining and exploration company, is seeking the services of a Safety Professional to play an integral part in a complete mine start.

Reporting to the OHS Manager, this person will play a pivotal role in the development of the safety management systems through construction/commissioning and into operations.

The key areas of responsibility will be to assist with the development and management of the;

• Health and Safety strategy
• Safety Management system
• Crisis and Emergency Management systems
• Processes and systems for health management
• Audit plan and schedule
• Contractor Management processes
• Technical advice and support
• Regulatory approvals.

We are seeking a pro-active safety specialist with qualifications in Health and Safety, several years in within mining or project environments. Your sound understanding ofWestern Australian Health and Safety Acts, Regulations, Standards, Codes and Guidelines will be invaluable.
