Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Document Controller to join our project Delivery Group (PDG) in Perth.
PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will assist the Document Control Team with the following;
- Registering and classifying deliverables and other documents as required in the EDMS
- Populating and auditing meta-data in EDMS to ensure accurate project reporting
- Supporting all project participants in complying with project procedures and using the EDMS to capture project documents
- Assisting in expediting Project reviews and capturing and distributing mark ups using EDMS
- Assist with the formatting and distribution of documentation
- Upload/capture data on Client’s EDMS if required
- Assisting Senior document controllers with day to day tasks as required
You will bring to the role;
- Previous document control experience in an engineering project or data management environment using an electronic document management system
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications, PDF editors, file management tools e.g. Explorer and WinZip and demonstrated ability to learn other software tools
- Ability to accurately and efficiently capture meta-data and is detail orientated
- Ability to follow workflows and standards
- Experience in working within a team with ability and willingness to share knowledge
- Proven communication/interpersonal skills to build relationships with the immediate and remote team members
- EDMS experience in Livelink, Aconex and SharePoint, ProjectWise and TeamBinder
