Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Perth.

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Prepare and issue of invitation to tender documents
  • Manage tenders
  • Commercial evaluation of submitted Tenders, including liaison with engineering representatives
  • Evaluate departures to client terms and conditions and liaison with client legal representatives
  • Develop of recommendation to award and contract documents
  • Post award management of awarded contracts, including expediting, logistics co-ordination, correspondence control, evaluation of contractor payments, evaluation of variation requests etc.
  • Have the ability to interface and communicate with internal stakeholders to achieve efficient cost effective delivery of out procurement services.


You bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement or contracts administration preferably within an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) environment
  • A relevant business or commercial degree or equivalent
  • Computer literacy in the MS Office suite of products
  • Contract formation experience
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
  • Strong customer focus
