Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Surface Maintenance Trainer at our Carlin operations. As part of the Surface Maintenance team, the successful candidate will coordinate the training curriculum for the Surface Maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must direct needs assessments as a partner in collaboration with the mobile maintenance department and assist in the interpretation of results
• Selected person must be able to collaborate with peers, mechanics, and management
• Candidate must promote a safe working environment, procedures and culture
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years mobile maintenance experience or equivalent industrial type environment, with proven training success in relevant assignment required
• Minimum five (5) years proven experience in mobile maintenance required
• Proven experience in working with peer groups and focus teams required
• Sound understanding of safety and environment requirements associated with operating as Responsible Miners required
• Cooperate with supervisors and managers on management of safety, environmental, maintenance, and production issues required
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software and SAP preferred
• Excellent communication skills-both oral and written required
• Excellent planning, problem solving, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills required
