Spending a summer as a Newmont vacation student is a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you with a deeper understanding of the mining industry, newfound friendships and a glimpse of what a career with Newmont is like. You'll help us solve problems while gaining practical work experience and get your hands dirty.

Our Boddington vacation students have the option of living locally in Boddington or stay in our Accommodation Village on a Drive In/Out roster. Tanami vacation students have the option of Fly In/Out from Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs or Brisbane.

The Newmont Vacation Employment Program yields many riches. That's why many of our vacation students return for a second year. Do well in the summer and you could be fast tracked into a full-time Graduate position in our structured 2-year Graduate Development Program.

Key features of the Vacation Employment Program:

• Maximum 12 weeks' work experience at our Australian Operations;
• Hands-on responsibilities with possibility of project work;
• Opportunity to fast track into Newmont Australia's Graduate Development Program.
