Job description
Our client is located in Melbourne's Northern suburbs that has been operating for over 50 years, specialising in steel pipe manufacturing. The successful candidate will be required to work as a production worker assisting with finishing details on the product.

Our client is located in Melbourne's Northern suburbs that has been operating for over 50 years, specialising in steel pipe manufacturing. The successful candidate will be required to work as a production worker assisting with finishing details on the product.
Duties & responsibilities
- All hands work really using power tools and grinders etc
- Climbing in and out of pipes to help finish the pipe
- Physically fit
- Any experience with concreting is favourable
- Repainted and precisely touched-up components and assemblies.
- Measured and adjusted chemical feed rates.
- Recorded paint volumes and processed analyser readings.
- Conducted safety inspections and followed safety rules and procedures.
- Must have full working rights to work in Australia
- Two work references for previous welding roles
- Will have to undertake a weld test and pre-employment medical
- Able to read and interpret structural plans
- Experience in a similar production environment
