Purpose of the Job:

Document Control Specialist takes full responsibility for providing project support services in the Control of Project Documentation, in conformance with the document control systems Procore.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the individual under the direction of the Document Control Supervisor will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Setup and maintain the Procore Document Management System.
  • Support the distribution and review of Project Documents.
  • Store, manage, and track project documents in ProCore.
  • Prepare/receive transmittals of Project Document Submittals.
  • Provide RFi and Submittal Status Reports to the Engineering Manager for Review and Action.
  • Support the Review and Response to Client Comments.
  • Assist with records management procedures and policies including documentation, record retention, and retrieval.
  • Controlling the retrieval and response of construction project documentation.
  • Help project teams receive and process project documents such as meeting minutes, drawings specifications, approvals, and related items.
  • Provide support to the Site Team as required.

What will you contribute?

Experience required:
  • Overall 5-8 years of experience with Document Control Systems
  • Experience with Procore as the Document Management System
  • Experience with other Document Management Systems
  • Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask, and troubleshoot for multiple projects
  • Experience working with a Project Team
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat
