  • Be a crucial part the Regional Sourcing team by undertaking Source to Contract activities that the business requires in order to deliver sustainable value to Rio Tinto
  • Ability to work across multiple categories with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Full time 6 month Fixed Term | Location: Perth CBD

In the position of Source-to-Contract Analyst, you will provide sourcing solutions and support to managed and non-managed categories within the Australian geographic. Working with local and international peers, the role will deliver value by supporting sourcing operations and facilitating the end to end sourcing process.

Reporting to the Souring Specialist, you will:
  • Manage the end to end sourcing process (Source-to-Contract)
  • Identify sourcing opportunities through spend analysis
  • Design, develop and manage tenders
  • Be proficient in contractual terms and conditions and drafting of contracts
  • Undertake category profiling, market research and market analysis
  • Be a skilled negotiator - develop negotiation plans and identify levers
  • Undertake Supplier Identification, Qualification, and Assessment
  • Draft business cases for management approval
  • Have experience in Ariba, SAP, and the Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation expertise
  • Effective time management and personal organisational skills to balance multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and analytical capability.
  • Ability to formulate and present compelling strategies and business cases
  • Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and collaboration with others
  • Ideally degree qualified in a Business or Commerce discipline.
