Technology Asset Controller

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

This role will interface with the Technology Service Desk for the fulfillment of Hardware and Software requests and the Technology Site Support Teams to maintain Technology Storeroom Stock quantities. Stock Control is a key element in provisioning Technology support at sites, to enable rapid turnaround of IT equipment requested and therefore directly impacts Site Support. You will also work closely with the Technology onsite teams to ensure flights, accommodation, and equipment are delivered to the relevant sites. There will also be an opportunity to travel to the Pilbara sites to assist in the hardware decommissioning process.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Strong skills with managing assets, leasing agreements, and schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of and understanding the issues associated with managing an extensive IT fleet including, but not limited to, procurement, refresh, and retirement of assets.
  • Ability to develop productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers, with a focus on benefits and continuous improvement.
  • Performs day-to-day tasks associated with the provision of administrative support to all Technology & Autonomy units including, but not limited to, receipting in SAP and Fiori Financial Systems, arranging shipping of equipment, and working with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in aligning asset management policies and procedures with strategic business objectives

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to use initiative in appropriate situations
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of procurement and asset management processes
  • Sound knowledge of SAP and Fiori account management
  • Working knowledge of Software application and system requirements
  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification or relevant work experience
