The opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced candidates in procurement, contracts and tender development & evaluation. Supporting some of our key Defence engagements, these roles will suit candidates with Defence procurement experience and familiarity with the AUSDEFCON contracting suite. You'll join a team of Downer Professional Service's highly skilled operators while working onsite with the customer. While the majority of the team are Canberra based, we have the option to offer these roles in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, or can offer relocation assistance to Canberra.

Responsibilities of the role can include:

• Commercial support to Project preparing to issue Request for Tender (RFT) to market and through evaluation phase.
• Preparing Statements of Work and associated documentation
• Liaison with Engineering / Integrated Logistics Support and other project stakeholders
• Supporting After RFT release processes such and management of tenderer queries, and tender evaluation support

About you

• Defence procurement experience and strong familiarity with the ASDEFCON contracting suite
• Good technical knowledge of engineering and ILS processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in complex integration projects will be highly regarded

Security Clearance Requirement:

Due to client requirements, candidates must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV1 security clearance.
