About the role

We are looking for a maintenance execution Superintendent MEM, to lead the team at Greater Brockman, Nammuldi operations.

This role is a great opportunity to utilise your leadership, work management and maintenance experience in a supportive team environment. Working a 9:5 FIFO roster and reporting to the Manager MEM you will be:
  • Coaching and developing a team of professionals and maintenance staff
  • Leading maintenance execution activities including the responsibility for contractor management
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the team in the implementation of improvement initiatives and technical advance
  • Developing, monitoring and controlling approved budget to deliver cost effective services that meet the business needs
  • Ensuring that the maintenance function is delivered in line with Rio Tinto best practice to maximise productivity and equipment reliability
  • Identifying and implementing systems, processes and practice initiatives to improve efficiency, sustainability and safety within the Nammuldi MEM department

What you'll bring
  • Manual C Class Drivers licence
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles within a Mobile Equipment environment
  • Working knowledge of leading work management and asset management practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or equivalent and Microsoft Office
  • Background from either an engineering, shutdown or maintenance environment would be advantageous.
