Reporting to the Lead, Asset Health Supervisor, the Engineer in Training, Reliability is responsible for supporting the implementation of Asset Health processes and systems across all of Teck’s operations in North and South America.
We are looking for someone who has a desire to grow in the field of reliability engineering. This role will function as a deployment specialist for Teck’s Asset Health applications and processes, and we require someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a good understanding of change management.

Responsibilities :
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Provide sustainable solutions to maintenance and operations related problems
- Implement and support real-time asset monitoring tools
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators related to Asset Health
- Provide oversite to the development of advanced analytics for failure detection
- Support bad actor identification processes and scope out opportunities for implementing monitoring of key assets
- Apply process driven problem-solving techniques, such as root cause analysis, to complex problems
- Assist and participate in reliability centered maintenance initiatives to develop complete maintenance strategies for key assets
- Support projects with maintainability considerations and promote positive reliability practices in project development
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior work experience in a reliability or maintenance role
- Experience with scripting languages, preference for work with time-series data
- Experience with UX design or HMI bestpractices is an asset
- Experience with mobile mining equipment is an asset
- Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license
