Since 2007, African Underground Mining Services (AUMS) has provided unmatched mechanised underground mining services across numerous projects in Africa. AUMS is dedicated to achieving the highest global standards in underground mining and there is a specific focus on sharing this mining knowledge across all levels of the business.

We are seeking an experienced underground Shotcrete Supervisor for West Africa on an 8/6 roster. This challenging and rewarding role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further develop your career and work alongside experienced industry professionals in a safe, dynamic and outcome focused environment. To be successful in this position you will meet the criteria as outlined below.

Key Requirements:

• Substantial experience with Normet diesel and electric spraymecs.
• Compliance with all QA/QC requirements to deliver high quality safe work.
• Open and positive attitude to training national workforce to safe operating standards.
• Undertake all required hazard assessments and prestart checks to ensure the work areas and machinery are safe for use.

• Solid history in underground mining

• Sound knowledge of concrete QA/QC activities
• Be flexible and have a willingness to assist with varied tasks and responsibilities with an open and positive attitude.
• Passion for sharing your knowledge and experience when training the national workforce to safe operating standards.
