About Our Client:
Rio Tinto operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an Graduate/ Exploration Geologist with experience across logging blast holes for an immediate start. This position will be FIFO from Perth, Albany, Geraldton or Busselton on a 2/1 roster. Previous experience within Iron Ore would be highly regarded.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Logging Blast Holes
  
• Validating Logging to Blast Hole Assays
  
• Creating Block Outs for Grade Control Scheduling
  
• Reconciliation and Reporting
  
• Project Work
  
• Occupational Health and Safety Duties as Required
  
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  
• Previous Experience across Logging Blast Holes- Mandatory
  
• Current WA- Manual Driverâs Licence
  
• Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
  
• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
