Senior Contracts and Procurement Specialist

Work Location: Perth
Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting into the Contracts Manager FFI, you will support the contracts process for FFI, assisting with contract execution, delivery and close out.

These newly created positions exciting will best suit individuals who thrive on going above and beyond and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, to support project schedule and budget
  • Conduct sourcing activities in accordance with established Project Controls and Contracts and Procurement policies and procedures
  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate tender packages across Works, Capital Equipment and services
  • Develop well written, well-structured procurement documentation that supports the project requirements
  • Identify and maximise cost saving opportunities
  • Generate reports and analysis to support procurement decision-making

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, business, law, or construction desirable.
  • At least 5 years of Senior Contracts experience within Mining or similar Heavy Industries Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement across multiple disciples internal and external
  • Self-motivator, with strong initiative who takes pride in their work
  • Candidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.
