Position summary
Planning Coordinator

Downer Asset Industrial Services have a permanent position available for an experienced Planning Coordinator join our high performing team in Port Hedland. This role offers flexible working arrangements to suit family and schooling. Must be a local candidate in the Port Hedland region or willing to relocate.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading high performing project teams to expertly delivery asset integrity management services during shutdown and maintenance projects.

We are interested in your experience in pre-work execution planning and coordination of multidiscipline teams to meet safety, financial and productivity targets.

ABOUT YOU
  • Certificate II/III in Management (desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Planning/Resourcing role.
  • Previous experience in reviewing works scopes (at a high level), reviewing plans and programs to meet contractual targets and ensuring that risks are identified and effectively managed;
  • Strong leadership skills, ensuring planning of all employees and contractors for effective execution;
  • Highly competence in reviewing Labour Resource Schedules;
  • Proven abilities in developing and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success and ongoing works;
  • Strong commercial acumen to manage costs and highlight opportunities for improvement;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills;
  • Highly effective written and oral communications skills; and
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Zero Harm Culture.
