Position summary Electrical Project Coordinators
Downer Asset Industrial Services have opportunities available a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Project Coordinators to join our highly successful team.

You will provide Project and Operational Support assisting with the delivery and timely execution of the Maintenance Projects and Shutdown activities being undertake in the Pilbara region of WA. This role will be based in the Perth CBD office with some limited site travel required.

Your key requirements for the role will include:
  • Maintain project controls, progress and performance management, productivity measures, completion status, and project completion against planned outcomes
  • Develop project estimates and variations/claims;
  • Assist with contract and procurement planning;
  • Complete and report on a quantitative analysis of the project schedule and estimated cost to completed
  • Previous experience on maintenance projects and shutdowns in a similar role;
  • Prior experience on BHP sites will be highly regarded;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Ability to develop and maintain key internal and external relationships; and
  • The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a variety of stake holders at all levels

About You:
  • Trade or Tertiary qualification in Engineering/Construction or similar is desirable;
  • Formal qualification in project management or equivalent preferred;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the Industry, particularly within power and /or heavy industry;
  • Have sound negotiation skills in dealing with customers and employees, with ability to influence;
  • Exposure and experience with project planning, execution and delivery;
  • Strong written and verbal skills; and
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
