Position summary
Downer Water Services Pipelines team is seeking to appoint a Warehouse Supervisor in a permanent full time position based out of Seven Hills, Sydney.

Reporting to the State Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will manage the warehouse and yard as a service department to the operations teams with the goal of assisting operations to be the most efficient and profitable they can be.
THE ROLE
Some of the responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Manage all aspects of the warehouse and yard to ensure its effectiveness as a tool for the delivery teams.
• Liaise with individual operations teams to understand their warehouse and yard requirements.
• Produce formal plans to service those operational requirements, present those plans and costing to the relevant business unit manager for final approval.
• Provide neat, tidy and safe storage facilities for each operational team (as per their approved plans).
• Provide loading and unloading facilities for the operations teams and supervise these activities to ensure compliance to Downer standards.

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated warehouse supervisor experience, ideally in pipelines or pipeline plant and equipment
• Forklift license (mandatory)
• MR License (minimum)
• Competent is Microsoft suite of products
• People management and great written and verbal communication skills
