Executive Assistant - Legal Department

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

As the successful candidate, you will report in to the General Manager - Legal providing integral support to the legal team and be required to manage competing priorities in a professional and timely manner.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Preparation of documents, emails, advice, board and executive papers and support for General Manager - Legal
  • Scheduling meetings and travel bookings to support team members
  • Attending to various accounts payable functions, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and new vendor on-boarding and processing
  • Credit card reconciliation and expense claims
  • Maintaining professional development records
  • Assisting the team with formatting and document preparation
  • Administrative support tasks, including document control, scanning etc
  • Constantly interacting with others in a positive and professional way to ensure that assigned tasks are completed on a timely basis

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Similar experience in a similar role, with experience in a legal environment or a law firm will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience providing high quality support to General Manager/ Legal team
  • High levels of confidentiality
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to show initiative, pre-empt problems and provide solutions
  • Expertise in all levels of computer operation and Microsoft Office Software Systems
  • SAP and Ariba experience highly regarded
  • The successful candidate may be offered the opportunity to travel for business purposes, therefore international experience and/or foreign language skills, will be highly regarded
