About The Role

Position Overview
Reporting to the Treasurer, the Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury is responsible for a range of financial analysis primarily related to the areas of corporate finance, financial modelling and planning, and commodity and currency hedging strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and maintain the corporate financial model
- Support with the execution of the company’s commodity and foreign exchange hedging programs
- Support corporate financing, M&A, and other strategic transactions
- Conduct currency and commodity analysis for hedging purposes
- Direct and execute gold dore sales
- Support corporate financing, M&A, and other strategic transactions
- Management of consolidated cash and money market investments
- Research economic and market trends, as required
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis, as required
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance or other related field
- 3-5 years of experience in treasury, investment banking, capital markets, or corporate banking, with an emphasis on mining-related experience
- Chartered Financial Analyst and/or MBA
Other Requirements
- Working knowledge of relevant markets and financial derivative instruments
- Strong Microsoft excel modeling skills
- Familiarity with Bloomberg or Refinitiv Eikon
- Show initiative and able to perform under a high-pressure environment
- Able to build positive working relationships with other business units
- Ability to clearly communicate complex situations and opinions to senior management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high-level attention to detail
