The Coffee Mine Project ("Coffee") is a proposed hard-rock gold mine. Coffee will be a premier, high-grade, open pit heap leach gold mine project, built to world class standards, located in Canada's Yukon Territory. We see ourselves in a long-term relationship with our First Nation Partners and the Yukon Territory. Caring for it is crucial, so we take safety, sustainability, environmental and social responsibility seriously in all that we do at Coffee.

The Logistics Intern will be responsible for purchasing, receiving and shipping materials in Whitehorse as requested by the Coffee Camp Management. The successful candidate will also be required to report any pending delivery delays, and work with local suppliers to get deliveries to the project site as soon as possible. The expected duration of this position is June through to September but could vary based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Purchase, retrieve, deliver and ship goods as requested
• Liaise with air carrier to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Receive shipments of materials, examine deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications
• Facilitating flow of materials and supplies between Whitehorse and the Coffee Camp.
• Perform clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities
• Follow established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures

Requirements:
• Possession of valid driver's license
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes, excellent communication skills
• Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting corporate deadlines and receiving critical orders on time
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software as needed
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, to lead and coordinate across organizational lines
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Must be physically fit and able to lift, pull and push loads of up to 40 lbs repetitively
• Consent to and pass pre-employment, drug & alcohol screening
