How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Assist in the preparation of proposal submissions.
  • Accountable for the quality of design team’s work.
  • Participate in technical projects including, but not limited to:
    • Technical studies.
    • Design basis.
    • Conceptual designs.
    • Detailed designs.
    • Technical specifications.
    • Field work.
    • Tender Phase services.
    • Construction Phase Services.
    • Record drawings.
    • Health and safety of the team.
  • Help to maintain a climate favorable to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of the engineering work.


What will you contribute?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • EIT (P. Eng is an asset).
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Must be able to work within tight schedules respecting client’s timelines.
  • Ability to work within financial constraints.
  • Results-oriented combined with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to obtain public works security clearance as a condition of employment.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
  • Have a commitment to Health and Safety.
  • Be able to technically understand /challenge concepts and ideas.
  • Proficient with standard computer tool set to develop projects.
  • Note this position is based in Halifax (for access to security documents).
