THE ROLE
We are currently seeking for a Parts Controller to provide Material Controlling Support to the Planning Team and to manage and control parts for mobile fleet.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE
• 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in heavy industry preferably within Warehousing or Mining environment (ESSENTIAL)
• Forklift Ticket (ESSENTIAL)
• Certificate in Warehousing and SAP (ESSENTIAL)
• Extensive experience in Parts Picking (ESSENTIAL)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in the warehousing side like Storeman, Warehousing, Tool Store etc (DESIRABLE)
• Relevant experience as parts controller for mobile fleet. (DESIRABLE)
• Certificate in Project Management (DESIRABLE)
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• High attention to detail with good time management skills.
• Strong active listening & interpersonal skills.
MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be open to work in Lihir as a National FIFO.
- Ability to provide/obtain valid police clearance.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
