Senior Funding & Finance Analyst
Work Location:
Perth
Roster: Monday to Friday

As a Funding & Finance Analyst, you will be part of a small dynamic high-performance team of experts supporting the FFI Finance team.

Performing a critical role in the team, you will ensure that the balance sheet and capital management is of high efficiency, ensuring maximum return on invested capital and the delivery of shareholder returns for FFI.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Financial analysis including cash flow model interrogation and scenario assessment
  • Support with the co-ordination, management and oversight of projects and activities as delegated
  • Assist with the preparation of debt and investor activities including pitch decks and presentations
  • Preparation of various commercial documentation including executive director reports, briefing papers and board reports
  • Support with compliance matters
  • Where necessary, liaise with external parties with regards to ratings, legal, advisory, and banks
  • Preparation of additional material and compilation of ad hoc research as requested

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within commercial accounting or corporate finance functions in a financial institution, private, or listed company
  • Exposure to domestic and international debt capital markets, project accounting, corporate finance and accounting
  • Demonstrated experience conducting and completing due diligence
  • Excellent analytical abilities with high attention to detail
  • Advanced .ppt skills and preparation of transaction and investor marketing materials and decks
  • Advanced Excel or other programmatic financial modelling skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Team orientated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidates must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking, and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone.
