Job Description:
LDI mine is looking for a motivated individual to join our Reliability Team. Reporting to the Planning/Reliability General Foreman, you will work a 14 days on / 14 days off schedule at the Lac des Iles Mine site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, updating and monitoring detailed plans for executing maintenance activities. The successful applicant will be capable of effectively managing capacity and resources required to address planned maintenance backlog, as well as identify opportunities to reduce or eliminate downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance. Shutdown planning and working with the reliability engineer are also expectations for this position.
Qualifications:
Preferred skills and technical competencies acquired by the successful candidate would be in Reliability Centered Maintenance., Material Requirements Planning, Scheduling techniques, and Process improvement. Experience with underground & surface mobile mining equipment would be an asset. CMMS experience such as SAP, JD Edwards, 4Site as well as proficiency in MS Office programs.
The ideal applicant will possess relevant experience or education such as Red Seal Technician or Engineer/Technologist and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience in a mining environment. Previous Planning experience and/or technical knowledge of planning and scheduling of maintenance will be required.
