About Our Client
One of Queensland's largest industrial infrastructure groups are commencing a major roof installation project on the Sunshine Coast. This 6 month project will be constructing over a water reservoir with further project scope for the next 2-3 years which is likely to see to a permanent position. This position will offer Monday to Friday 10 hour days with potential Saturday work also.
What You Will Be Doing
As an experienced Site Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the roof installation project which will be completed with a close crew of 8-10 Labourers. Utilising your Working at Heights and Confined Space training, you will be managing the daily planning and overall workforce performance in accordance with specifications and materials.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day management and overseeing the project
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the specifications and completed on time
  • Plan and co-ordinate works to ensure work continuity with minimum lost time
  • Ensure all on-site documentation is maintained
  • Provide assurance to the client throughout the project that requirements are being met in accordance with the company procedures
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the client, consulting engineers, architects, contractors, and supervisors
  • Meeting strict safety standards
  • Working both individually and a part of a team
What You Will Need
  • Previous experience in a similar project
  • Proven Site Supervisor/Foreman experience in a construction environment
  • Ability and experience managing small teams of 5-10 labourers/tradesmen
  • Strong construction background experience with ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Experience with roof installations and/or concrete works is highly regarded
  • White Card, Working at Heights Ticket & Confined Space Ticket
  • Current resume with 2 x work related referees
  • Hold a current driver's license
  • Availability for an immediate start
  • Reliable and strong work ethics
