We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Geologist to join a team dedicated to geological assessments, mainly for hydroelectric projects. As such, you will be involved in a multidisciplinary team in the realization of projects ranging from feasibility studies to construction.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Geological assessments and design of ground improvement measures.
  • Field geological mapping, foundation preparation and foundation approval.
  • Logging of trial pits, trial trenches and drillholes as well as excavated rock faces.
  • Development of ground model.
  • Geological and geomorphological interpretation from both aerial photograph interpretation and field mapping.
  • Planning and supervision of site investigations, including in situ and laboratory testing.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.


What will you contribute?
  • B.A.Sc. in Geology.
  • Minimum of 8 years industry experience as a geologist.
  • Member or eligibility for professional designation in British Columbia.
  • Experience in hydroelectric projects and familiarity with shale bedrock would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of geological software packages, such as dips, Rocplane, Swedge, Leapfrog.
