The Role: Excavator Operator (Maules Creek, NSW)
Operators will be responsible for safely operating a fleet of EX8000 and EX3600 Hitachi Excavators in addition to other ancillary equipment in order to meet production schedules.

Operators will need to ensure that they contribute to maintaining a safe work environment through actively participating in safety management practices & processes.

To be successful in the role you will:
  • The ability to operate 350 - 800 tonne excavators at full capacity - dig rates of over 2500 bcm/hr
  • The ability to operate the associated support dozers.
  • Load 315 tonne trucks to capacity.
  • 2 years experience operating heavy machinery.
  • Associated current VOC's

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:
  • Operation of Hitachi EX8000-6 and Hitachi EX3600-6
  • Operation of CAT 789 truck equivalent or above,
  • Operation of Hitachi EH3500 or above
  • Work with the Team to obtain Dig hours of 11 hours per shift
  • Current Driver's Licence
