About the role
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our successful Boron Operation. Rio Tinto Minerals operates globally providing borates to world markets. Recognized as a leader in the industrial minerals industry due to product quality, supply reliability and technical support; we are proud to make modern life work. From our location in Boron, California we supply refined borates which are key ingredients in fiberglass, glass, ceramics, fertilizer's, wood preservatives and many other products.
This role is a great opportunity to expand your skills across a variety of support areas. Working a 5 days on /2 off roster you will be:
- Supporting overtime management in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, State & Federal Law
- Creating and distributing multiple reports, purchasing & invoicing activities
- Ordering supplies, processing mail, work orders, filing and document control
- Coordinating events, meetings, and expense reports
- Completing work order preparation, fuel and meter hours for mobile equipment
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid state Driver's License
- Excellent written verbal, and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of MS Office, Excel, MS Project& SAP
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with appropriate prioritization
- Data Entry
