Procurement Master Data/Cataloguer

Work Location: Perth Office

Roster: Monday-Friday

The Master Data Cataloguer creates, maintains, and improves Fortescue's Procurement and Supply Chain master data.

Working closely with the Inventory and Maintenance functions the role will play a pivotal role in the ensuring quality of Material catalogues utilised by Fortescue operations is relevant and to a high standard.

Role Responsibilities

  • The creation and maintenance of materials in 3 rd party software for an upcoming project
  • Reviewing quality and consistency of data provided for new catalogue entries
  • Support data cleansing, de-duplication and data enrichment activities
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and errors in ERP Systems, including conducting regular data audits and conducting root cause analysis of data quality issues
  • Assist with continuous development & improvement of SAP Master Data Governance & Processes

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience using SAP in a procurement master data context
  • 2 years experience with master data cataloguer or inventory activities
  • Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail in all deliverables
  • Proven ability to identify problems and take action to mitigate them
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with people at all different levels
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
