Document Controller
Work Location: Perth
Roster: Monday to Friday
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Document Controller to assist in the daily performance and operation of the Document Control Department across all operational projects and within the Corporate office.

Document Controller

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Document Controller to assist in the daily performance and operation of the Document Control Department across all operational projects and within the Corporate office.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Processing all documentation received, including vendor data, in accordance with prescribed procedures and time schedules
- Issuing of data for review and approval where necessary
- Expediting overdue data
- Identifying asset based information and creating equipment registers
- Entering & updating electronic copies of internally produced data and vendor data into in the electronic document management systems
- Allocating and controlling the numbering of documents and drawings
- Revision of the database when necessary
- Receipt of vendor data
- Archiving
- Data Cleanup
Qualifications and skills required:
- Strong working knowledge of electronic document management systems
- Understanding drawing structure and how they fit together
- Basic understanding of mining fixed plant equipment
- Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Word packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team orientation
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
