Operations near and far

Close to the city of Orange in NSW, Cadia is one of Australia's largest gold mining operations. We offer a unique opportunity for employees and their families to enjoy a mining career all whilst living in a major regional centre only three hours away from Sydney, NSW.

Who we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you will be team-oriented enjoy continuous improvement. You will also demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, whilst being able to positively engage and influence stakeholders. You will have experience in internal audit, change management, operational governance, compliance or risk management. You will demonstrate excellent analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to think conceptually. You will have high attention to detail, coupled with strong communication skills. You may be required to support with other specialist projects on a variety of different topics. Any qualifications in auditing, governance, risk or compliance will be held in high regard.

The roster for this position is 7.00am - 4.00pm, 5 Days On and 2 Days Off.

You will also possess the following:

• Exposure to assurance/compliance practices and contributing to the development and implementation of effective systems and processes
• Group facilitation skills with the ability to listen and draw out views from all group members
• Ability to act with discretion and treat confidential information
