Autonomous Haulage Specialist Trainer
Work Location: Perth
Roster: 4:3 Tues - Fri (12hrs a day)
We require an experienced Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Controller that is passionate about training to fill the AHS Controller Specialist Trainer position within the Automation Specialist Training team. This role will heavily focus on standardisation and optimisation of the AHS Controllers located at the HIVE, Fortescue's Integrated Operations Centre in Perth. As the AHS Trainer, you will deliver on the job training, upskilling and mentoring to existing AHS Controllers as well as training and assessing new starters to the role.

Autonomous Haulage Specialist Trainer

As the AHS Trainer, you will deliver on the job training, upskilling and mentoring to existing AHS Controllers as well as training and assessing new starters to the role.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Training, assessing, and delivering scheduled training programs to AHS Controllers across the business
- Conduct assessments and re-assessments of trainees
- Coaching and mentoring of AHS Controllers within the Mine Control Teams
- Completion of required documentation in support of training delivery
- Liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the continual success of the Autonomous Haulage System
- Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement within training environment to provide world class training and learning experiences
Qualifications and skills required:
- Passion and commitment to high quality education and training
- Experience delivering relevant and engaging training to a diverse range of students
- Excellent communication skills and strong organisational ability
- High level of professionalism and punctuality
- Advanced knowledge of the MineStar Command for Hauling Fleet Management System from an operational Controller aspect
- Extensive experience in utilising MineStar in an operational environment, including the ability to understand and explain the blend utility and assignment decisions
