Downer Mining have a rare opportunity for a Senior Site Accountant to join our team at our Blackwater site on a permanent basis.
This role will work a 5:2, 4:3 roster (9 day fortnight with every second Friday as an RDO) with accommodation provided and FIFO from Brisbane available.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Site Accountant with the ability to communicate effectively, foster productive working relationships and champion a cost management culture in the project.

In this role you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Management of the finance, commercial, accounting, and administrative services of the Project
- Financial and production reporting to client and internal stakeholders
- Key member of project management team
- Management and development of site administration team
- Undertake other specific projects as defined by Project Manager
- Liaise closely with Corporate Commercial Manager
ABOUT YOU
- Degree in Commerce.
- CA Qualified
- Strong analytical skills & strong desire to understand contract mining operations & drivers.
- Ability use strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strategic working relationships with project / managers and clients
- Demonstrated high standards for quality work completed to deadlines.
