We are looking for Advisor Accounting Services, GSL role in Finance & Accounting & Services who will work for Group Services processes along with high intensity projects from our delivery center office in India. This role is individual contributor role.

Reporting line: Senior Advisor - Lease Accounting

Scope: Your scope will include (but not limited to) below:

• Primarily responsible to specialised Lease Accounting (IFRS 16), that involves lease Assessment/Identification processing with expectation to deliver over and above SLAs ,interaction with stakeholders, supporting dynamic global team spread worldwide, centrally from India delivery center
• Understand and advise accounting and reporting based on International financial reporting standards
• Creating, modifying and disposing off Leases in accounting solution called Power Plan.
• Processing Lease Accounting Month end close process which includes different accounting aspects like closing Power Plan /SAP/HFM, as applicable along with resolving HFM queries.
• Ensuring reconciliation & resolving clear open items of between Power Plan & SAP
• Support digitalised lease solution and approve Purchase requisition workflows
• Govern and responsible to have the right operational controls on systems and processes
• Comply with SOX requirements, Internal Controls and ensure a fully compliant environment
• Bring new ideas on table and drive the implementation of projects having global improvements including standardisation, automation, & resolution of process inefficiencies etc.
• Support Transition and new services
• Ensuring documentation (policies, procedures etc.) is appropriately maintained and updated.

What you'llbring


We are looking for passionate candidates having:

• MBA Finance/M Com or equivalent
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience working in global organization across geographies under General Ledger Accounting with Exposure to Lease Accounting/Assessment/IFRS 16
• Experience within and/or exposure to shared services (captive and outsourced) will be added advantage

Technical Skills

• Understand and exposure to General Ledger Accounting, SAP /ERP systems/tools.
• Support projects/transformation impacting wider organization independently from planning till implementation.
• Working knowledge of end to end processes like General Ledger is an advantage
• Strong technical skills in MS Office suite, proficiency in presentations to stakeholders is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Relationship and stakeholder management and ability to influence stakeholders
• Ability to work on a global level is highly desirable
• Analytical, detail oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete project and deliverables
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills in English.
• Business Improvement mindset and skills
• Ability to adapt to change, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with Strong customer service skills
• Be a Self-starter and can work under pressure, with a vision of looking at end to end process with far sightedness and risk analysis.
