Purpose

The Program Coordinator Security (Online Intelligence Coordinator) is the central point for all Online Intelligence functions within the Security Department. The Program Coordinator ( Online Intelligence) contributes to the department's effectiveness by continuous coordinating, support and communicating with interdepartmental functions, security contractor and stakeholder to ensure maximum utilisation of the Online Intelligence systems for operational usage and evidence-based data and record keeping.

Essential Duties

  • Gatekeeping and coordinating of all entries within Cyber Incident Investigation Management System (CiiMS) and effective maintenance thereof
  • Formulating escalation procedures, checklists and workflows and send to Online Intelligence for implementation within CiiMS if needed
  • Liaise between Online Intelligence, Newmont Global Security and security department relating to technical issues concerning CiiMS
  • Training, retraining and development of all department personnel and contractors that use the CiiMS application and coordinate the registration of new users
  • Coordinating and assisting in expanding the functionality of the application within the Newmont environment
  • Creating, editing and expanding all statistical graphs that department requires
  • Performing pre employment screenings of selected new hires in support of HR
  • Coordinate investigations relating to research tasks, lifestyle audits
  • Coordinate the assessment of crime statistics for operational planning purposes
  • Compiling and maintaining related policies and procedures, monthly, weekly and daily reports


Training & Experience

  • Bachelor/University Degree, Prior Learning Assessment.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in related field.
  • The Online Intelligence Coordinator must have excellent English language Skills and advanced computer skills in MS applications.
  • The Online Intelligence Coordinator must be able to work in a team environment with demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Interpersonal oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must have current driver's license.
  • Site induction and mandatory employee training.


Working Conditions

Must be able to work in an office environment that is located on the Merianmine site and that includes travel between points of office and camp in all weather conditions. Wear personal protective equipment including hardhat, safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, or any other equipment to safely perform duties. The function is not limited to the mine site only and work from Paramaribo office or home can be included. Schedule 14 days working, 7 days off and 10 hours work per day.
