Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Location: Columbus, MT - (partial remote work option)
Schedule: 5x2x4x3
Position Purpose and Summary: As an HR Assistant, you will be part of a team of highly skilled HR professionals working in a fast-paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment. This role will provide administrative and coordination support to Benefits/Compensation, Organizational Development, and the MET Complex HR Staff in the US Region. This position requires a servant leader mindset who can partner with all levels within the organization.

This role will provide administrative and coordination support to Benefits/Compensation, Organizational Development, and the MET Complex HR Staff in the US Region. This position requires a servant leader mindset who can partner with all levels within the organization.
Essential DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain employee records and Human Resources databases
- Schedule training including room and meal accommodations & facilitator(s) and participant scheduling
- Track employee training
- Conduct, compile and report on training facilitator & participant feedback
- Prepare professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Provide daily assistance to employees on a wide variety of Human Resources issues
- Assist with benefits administration
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills and recordkeeping
- Field phone calls and address a variety of employee and/or departmental inquiries
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Assists in auditing systems and related documentation
- Assists in HR-related event planning and execution
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an administrative role supporting a high-volume department.
- Ability to process complex data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is essential.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of and the ability to utilize, administer, and configure an HRIS.
- Strong analytical and creative skills are essential for success.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Adept at listening, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions.
- Ability to work occasional weekends for HR events up to 10% of the time.
- Advanced Computer literacy is preferred – specifically Excel, Relational Databases, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- HR or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related disciplines
- Continuous Improvement, quality, or other root cause analysis training
