WesTrac are now seeking the skills and experience of a passionate and dedicated Corporate Accountant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the end to end lifecycle of the taxation accounting component for WesTrac nationally including FBT, income tax, GST and tax effect accounting.

The ideal applicant for this position will have recent experience in a corporate accounting team, with hands on management of all tax (direct & indirect) areas, coupled with a business advisory background within a professional services firm or significant experience within a commercial environment.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Applicable CPA or CA qualification
  • Have knowledge and understanding of company tax compliance including FBT, income tax, GST and practical application
  • Be familiar with the month end close processes and associated accounting entries
  • Ability to develop and implement processes to create efficiencies in the company tax compliance cycle
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities to meet objectives
  • Team player as well as the ability to work autonomously
  • SAP or similar ERP experience, OneSource FBT software or similar experience – highly desirable
  • Experience of TEA / ITR software (Global Integrator or similar) - highly desirable
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise at all levels with a diverse range of stakeholders

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our WA head office in South Guildford.
